About the Role
We are seeking a Social Media Content Manager to manage and grow Amka Products’ presence across export markets. This role is responsible for managing multiple social media pages across different brands and regions, supporting marketing campaigns, and ensuring consistent, effective execution across platforms.
The role requires strong organisational skills, a clear understanding of social media performance, SEO principles, and the ability to manage both organic and paid social activity across multiple markets.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple social media pages across different Amka brands and export regions.
- Develop and manage content calendars aligned with brand and campaign priorities.
- Execute social media campaigns in support of product launches, promotions, and marketing initiatives.
- Create, adapt, and publish content across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X/Twitter, and YouTube.
- Adapt content for different regions while maintaining brand consistency.
- Write clear, effective captions and copy with an understanding of SEO principles, including keyword usage, hashtags, and platform-specific optimisation.
- Manage paid social media advertising campaigns, including content preparation, execution, and basic performance monitoring.
- Monitor and respond to comments and direct messages, maintaining a professional and on-brand community presence.
- Track performance metrics, analyse results, and prepare reports to support ongoing optimisation.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, design, and product teams to ensure aligned execution across campaigns and platforms.
- Stay up to date with platform changes, social media trends, and digital best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.
- Experience managing multiple social media pages across different brands or regions.
- Strong copywriting skills with a practical understanding of SEO for social, video platforms, and supporting website content.
- Experience running paid social media advertising campaigns.
- Familiarity with social media management and scheduling tools.
- Working knowledge of analytics tools and platform insights.
- Ability to adapt content for different markets and audiences.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to take direction and collaborate effectively.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with influencer collaborations or partnerships.
- Basic video editing and short-form content creation.
- Experience using AI tools to assist with content creation, adaptation, and scaling.
- Graphic design skills to support social media execution where required.
- Ability to create or adapt simple visual assets for social platforms
- Familiarity with design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
- Familiarity with content optimization across different platforms and regions.

Minimum requirements
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field.

• Multi-Page Management: Proven ability to manage multiple social media pages across brands/regions.
• Copywriting & SEO: Strong writing skills with practical knowledge of SEO principles for social platforms.
