Role Overview: Amka seeks a qualified maintenance fitter to join its production operations team.
Requirements:
- Red Seal qualification (trade test)
- 3 years of FMCG experience
- Knowledge of filling machines (liquids, creams, rotary, linear)
- Experience with printers, labellers, shrink tunnels, pneumatics
Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and breakdown repairs under pressure
- Work shifts and extended hours when required
- Apply control systems (Shopware, Wonderware)
- Implement lean manufacturing, root cause analysis, and 5S principles
Key Skills:
- Preventive maintenance
- FMCG technical expertise
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Packaging and filling machinery knowledge

Due to Amka’s continued growth, we are seeking a qualified Maintenance Fitter to join our dynamic Production Manufuactruing Operations team.
MUST HAVE:
- 3 years FMCG experience as a Maintenance Fitter
- FMCG company experience
- Red Seal qualification (apprenticeship trade test)
Technical Knowledge:
- Liquids & creams filling machines and principles
- Rotary and linear filling machines
- Printers, labellers, and end-of-line equipment (shrink tunnels, pneumatics)
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and breakdown repairs under pressure
- Work shifts and extended hours when required
- Apply statistical control systems (Shopware, Wonderware)
- Implement lean manufacturing, root cause analysis, and 5S principles
Key Skills
- Preventive maintenance expertise
- Strong FMCG technical background
- Problem-solving ability under pressure
- Knowledge of filling machinery and packaging equipment
Minimum Requirements
- Red Seal qualification (trade test)
- 3 years FMCG experience (3 preferred)
- Hands-on knowledge of filling machines, packaging equipment, and pneumatics
